I’m trying to get a small business allow and like each site that I’ve found is a scam. Does anyone know of like real places that give allows to people that want to begin up there own small business. I want to open like an in home kitchen where I can deliver homemade food and stuff.

There’s no such thing. None. There are allows for INNOVATIVE businesses…not people buying and selling on ebay since clearly millions already do it without a grant. That’s just silly.

The quote is for the National Guard and needs to be for 1 Shred bin per our many locations through out the say and these bins need to be emptied twice a month.

I keep running into scams. I don’t want a book, CD Rom or DVD, I don’t want to pay shipping. I would like actual applications and resources to find real education allows for women returning to school. Can anybody help?

Well, it kind of depends on what say you are from. But I would advocate you to apply for FAFSA. In the say of MN, they wage allows for women who are single moms and needs help with tuition. There are a lot of school out there that once you apply for FAFSA, they will see if you remember for their school scholarships, some might be for returning parents, mothers, etc. Ideal of luck.

I hear so many times that there are hundreds of different Government or Private Org small business allows for women but have yet to find a legitimate allow or website that is offering grants. And NO the SBA does-not offer allows for New business for women, they offer loans as do regular banks that I could just go to if it were an option. Where are these legitimate allows at??? Grants are hard to find because it is not really true that there are “so many government grants.”

It is hard to find allows to begin a business — whether male or female. Unlike the myths that some perpetuate, federal government and even private foundations hardly give allow money for starting a for-profit business.

One doable exception is for companies developing or exporting agricultural goods, including food and forest product. Another exception could be the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs http://www.sba.gov/aboutsba/sbaprograms/sbir/index.html , which fund the research and development of technological innovation that meets specific government needs.

Your saint bet actually will be from the states if they offer allow programs for women (or any other special interest groups — minorities, women, disabled, veterans, etc). Or check with non profit organizations, particularly women organizations if they offer grants. Examples include

New Mexico Women’s Foundation http://www.nmwf.org/guidelines.html

Even SBA does NOT give out grants. From the SBA website http://www.sba.gov/mostrequesteditems/CON_FAQ2.html

Browse through the listings and see if you can find any allow that would support a for-profit venture.

It’s a subscription based website (.95 per month) but their opening blurb only states that the database is saint for “students, artists, academic researchers, libraries and financial aid offices.” Entrepreneurs are apparently not one of them, so I take it they also don’t have listings of private foundations who give allows to would-be entrepreneurs.
